The inventive director at Kenneth Pool is not named Kenneth. Actually, it is not even a man. The label was founded in 2003 by Ethiopian designer Amsale Aberra, who was currently renowned for her Amsale and Christos Bridal collections. Her Kenneth Pool label has been recognized for its "embodiment of fantasy and drama with its grand ball gowns, luxurious fabrics and exquisite beadwork."
